Bolivia and Chile are anxiously awaiting the decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague on whether it will take up La Paz's demand for access to the sea. Bolivia, which lost its Pacific Coast to Chile in an 1874 war, says its demand is based on international law. The ICJ ruling, which will be issued on September 24, cannot be appealed by either side. teleSUR
