Sonam Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar and Anil Kapoor are all set to walk the ramp for the Mijwan-The Legacy fashion show which is to be held in April. The show is a tribute to the celebrated Urdu poet Kaifi Azmi who worked relentlessly for years for the empowerment of his village, Mijwan. He is also the father of Shabana Azmi and an advocate for girls’ education.
For the 5th Annual Mijwan Show this year Manish Malhotra will be designing for the theme of Mijwan- The Legacy. A source reveals about the show, “MIJWAN – THE LEGACY epitomizes the continuing realization of Kaifi Saab’s vision and the wonderful legacy of hope and empowerment for the assured future of all, particularly the underprivileged. ”
This year’s show will have parent child couples from Bollywood walk the ramp for the empowerment of the girlchild.
