A video has emerged of a giant dock spider protecting a nest it made under a sailing jacket.
According to the uploader, who filmed the video in Quebec, Canada last week, the spider was standing guard over hundreds of babies.
Dock spiders are venomous but not dangerous to humans. They get their name from where they tend to live.
