Mexico: Independent Experts Report Shatters Gov't Line on Ayotzinapa

The release of the independent experts' report on the case of the 43 missing Ayotzinapa students has dealt a major blow to the Mexican government's claims. The report indicates that military intelligence and federal, state, and municipal officials knew of and were present during the attacks on the students. In response to the bombshell, President Enrique Peña Nieto said new lines of investigation would be open and the suggestions and points in the report would be taken into account.
