To celebrate the opening of the new entrance of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam an incredible maze made up of 125 000 sunflowers has been set up on the Museumplein in Amsterdam. The new entrance was open to the public from 5th September 2015. Visitors are now able to enter the museum through a spectacular glass structure on Museumplein.
The new entrance of the Van Gogh museum features advanced glass building techniques and is completely transparent. The entrance hall was designed by Kisho Kurokawa Architect & Associates, the agency founded by the renowned Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa.
