ICT services that protect social safety
Near field communications (NFC) chips have recently been installed to
the back side of the passenger seat in every taxi operating in Seoul.
When passengers put their smartphones to the chip, their boarding
information is sent to their guardians, helping them to use taxi more
safely. We introduce you to ICT services aimed at buoying the social
safety, including GPS terminals for dementia patients and their
families.
