In Safe Sparring, you are having your teacher or friend simulate a real fight for you, they will stop on command, in a real fight, the enemy will not stop on command, he will potentially beat you till death.
If you are afraid of safe sparring, then just imagine how you will respond in a real fight, you will be unprepared, you will be severely injured and possibly dead. A lot of people have never been in a real fight and they don't train how to survive a real fight, this type of training you cannot ever receive in gym, it is not allowed.
This type of training is a private training that requires an immense amount of trust, like the trust between father and son. To become stronger, to become better, it is much better to have your father beat you down out of love than a stranger who is trying to kill you. At my school, I aim to develop a family relationship between the individuals who have interest in the advanced expression of safe sparring.
