The Organization of American States (OAS) is discussing the situation on the Venezuelan-Columbian border. Caracas closed important border crossings two weeks ago in an attempt to stop the smuggling of subsidized goods out of Venezuela. Colombia’s ambassador to the OAS has criticized Venezuela for repatriating more than a thousand citizens, while Venezuela insists that more than five and a half million Colombians have been welcomed in Venezuela over the years. teleSUR
