After spending 4 months in the hospital for suffering from a heart attack, Hisao is finally being discharged from there and able to go back to school... well, a new school anyway. Now that he transferred over to Yamaku Academy, he spent his first day there by getting a chance to know his classmates and his surroundings while attending class with his new Science/Homeroom Teacher, Mutou.
He then gets introduced to two of his new classmates, Shiina "Misha" Mikado and Shizune Hakamichi. After school though, he also gets introduced to Yamaku's Chief Nurse... uh, Nurse (even the Katawa Shoujo website doesn't give him a name other than "Nurse") and his new, yet somewhat creepy roommate Kenji Setou. It's definitely a bit of a drastic change for Hisao, can he get used to this, or is he gonna instantly regret this?
