The small Caribbean island of Dominica has been devastated by tropical storm “Erika,” with reports of at least 20 deaths and many missing. The capital city of Roseau is flooded, the airport destroyed and several southern cities isolated. Alerts have been issued in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and other Caribbean islands, while a state of emergency has been declared in southern Florida, where the storm is expected early Monday morning. teleSUR
