Venezuelan VP Says Relations with Colombia Must be Lawful

Venezuela’s Vice President Jorge Arreaza affirmed that strong ties between the Venezuelan and Colombian peoples will remain as long as cohabitation rules are respected within the law. He emphasized that Colombians will still work at the border, but within the law. Venezuela will lawfully export its products, oil and gasoline to Colombia, but at their value and not at the subsidized prices given to the Venezuelan people. After the ambassador were recalled, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez expressed her regret at the setback in the progress she had made in talks with her Colombian counterpart. teleSUR
