Here is a light contact Safe Sparring Demo with former student of mine. I've realized through time and experience that it is very difficult to retain advanced students to demonstrate an advanced level of safe sparring. Due to the nature of the business in how so many people come and go and how long it takes to build individuals up to become truly proficient in combat, I've come to the conclusion that in order to progress further in your journey, you can never depend on another living human being for training, training tools such as the wooden dummy can serve to help you keep advancing throughout the many decades of training.
Humans get hurt, humans can get angry, humans come and go, they are unreliable sources of growth when you have reached a high level of training, in order to keep progressing, you must progress while training with equipment such as the wooden dummy.
When you are a runner and nobody can outrun you, then you start running against time, when you run against time, it provides an endless opportunity of improvement. That is how I see the wooden dummy to be, it provides an endless opportunity for improvement, whereas with humans, there are just too many limitations.
