Syria: IS group destroys world heritage site in Palmyra

This week, the Islamic State group claims to have destroyed the Baal Shamin temple in the Syrian city of Palmyra, sparking outrage around the world. The 2,000-year-old temple was a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Also, the garbage crisis continues in Lebanon. Protest organisers have called for more demonstrations to put pressure on the government.
