Due to its lower-than-required percentage of tomato solids, the nation’s Health Ministry is requiring that it be relabeled as a ‘tomato seasoning.’

The matter was brought to the government’s attention by the company Osem, which is Israel’s leading ketchup supplier. 

Though Heinz declares that it contains 61 percent tomato concentrate, testing ordered by Osem and carried out at an independent lab in Europe showed it
