One of the advantages of going to the dentist to have your whitening done is as opposed to getting over the counter products is that the gel in the professional products is significantly stronger, according to Dr. Qatsha, so you can get the whitening done faster, more effecitvely and it lasts longer.
A common reason for teeth whitening is from patients who have had a tooth had undergone some trauma, such as a root canal.
