The Kuala Lumpur High Court (Appellate and Special Powers division) has postponed the hearing of cartoonist Zunar and Malaysiakini's judicial review application, following the ban of its two cartoons to May 11.
The decision was made in chambers of Justice Rohana Yusof, after meeting lawyer K Shanmuga representing Zunar and Malaysiakini, and senior federal counsel, Nor Hisham Ismail.
The case was initially fixed for hearing today.
The cartoon 1Funny Malaysia and Perak Darul Kartun was ban by the Home Ministry, while Zunar and whose real name is .........and Malaysiakini, wants to seek order to lift the order.
