Some 20 friends and supporters of detained student leader Khalid Ismath held a candlelight vigil in front of the Dang Wangi police station tonight.
Brandishing banners that read 'Police Punch Khalid's Mother', 'Students not Gangsters', 'We are all Khalid Ismaths', the group demanded the police to release him immediately.
"The police has no ground to arrest him. We urge the police to free him before the people rise up again against them," said AMK leader Rozan Azen Mat Rasip.
