Pakatan Rakyat MPs today gave Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak seven days to call an emergency parliamentary sitting this month to debate the issue of permanent residents (PRs) who have been registered as voters.
Describing the scandal as an "act of treason" and "detrimental to national security", PAS vice-president Salahudin Ayub claimed that his party has identified 1,597 such cases nationwide, particularly in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Johor.
