In this episode, our host Cody Weddle interviews Adai Massri, President of the General Union of Palestinian Students in Venezuela. He is one of 20 young people who came to Palestine on scholarships to study community medicine eight years ago. Massri thanks President Hugo Chavez for initiating the program. Although he has some criticisms of both Palestinian and Venezuelan officials, he credits President Maduro with expanding the program drastically. “Palestine needs doctors,” says Massri. “I am the hope of my family.
