A former Internal Security Act (ISA) detainee today revealed that she was tapped as an Umno member in the early 90s to recruit 'Malay' voters in the interiors of Sabah to assist Umno in defeating Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) at the time.
Siti Aminah said in the span of 5 years, she estimates half a million illegitimate ICs were handed out, mostly to foreigners from Indonesia and Philippines.
