At the end of the story, our Shanice See asked Mak Wan what she wanted. She said she wanted to go for a pilgrimage; on an Umrah.
This year she got her wish. Some Malaysian students studying abroad and in Malaysia collected donations amounting RM6,000 to make her Umrah possible. She left for this holy journey on June 6.
