At Former CPM secretary-general Chin Peng's wake in a temple in Bangkok, his long-time comrade Lao Chiang is feeling a mix of betrayal and loyalty. At 84 - and only five years younger than Chin Peng when he died on Sept 16, Lao Chiang said he took up arms because police were looking for him.
