Interviews from Quito – Atilio Boron on 10 years of teleSUR

2015-08-14 21

This evening our host Reagan des Vignes interviews Argentine sociologist Atilio Boron, on the impact of teleSUR in its 10 years of existence. Boron credits teleSUR with the current free flow of information on the continent, but more importantly, with helping to raise consciousness by spreading the ideas of a common destiny, common problems, and common goals among Latin American nations –– ideas introduced by Hugo Chavez. They also discuss conflicts created by the U.S. government and news media and the somewhat more defense posture of this government today. teleSUR
