Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Shahidan Kassim has brushed off calls by DAP Serdang MP Ong Kian Ming for him to resign after proposing that Malaysians vote for their own race.
Shahidan denied this proposal was similiar to apartheid, saying it is only apartheid if a minority race rules over the majority in the country.
