The Selangor state executive councillor for welfare and women affairs Rodziah Ismail today admitted that the state government had "overlooked" the payments due to national laureate A Samad Said for the latter's two paintings.
Vowing to settle the amount owed, she also admitted that she did not know the current location of the two paintings, worth RM 8,000 each, which were purchased several years ago.
