Venezuelan opposition leader Daniel Cevallos has been released from prison and is now under house arrest after concerns for his health were expressed following a hunger strike. The 31-year-old Mayor of San Cristobal was arrested in 2014, based on accusations of causing unrest in anti-government protests. Another jailed leader, Antonio Ledesma, was also granted house arrest last April. teleSUR
