Beijin, Aug 12 (EFE).- The Chinese central bank devalued Wednesday the Yuan by 1.62 percent with respect to the US dollar, after it announced Tuesday a reform to its foreign exchange system that has already led to a nearly 2-percent devaluation.
China justified its decision due to low currency rates in the last several days.
