Poachers in the southwestern Mexican state of Oaxaca are threatening the continued existence of the Olive Ridley turtle. The sea turtles' eggs and nesting areas on the Pacific Coast had been protected by the navy until 2014, at which time the military was deployed to other areas to fight organized crime. teleSUR
