President Evo Morales met with Peter Brennan, Charge d’affaires of the United States Embassy in Bolivia on Tuesday and announced that Bolivia and Washington may soon name new ambassadors. Morales said that Washington had previously criticized Bolivia for maintaining close relations with Cuba and Iran, but now that Washington is improving it’s relations with those countries, so why not with Bolivia? he asked. Seven years ago Morales expelled the United States Ambassador, accusing him of backing a right-wing revolt, but would now like to renew the relations. teleSUR
