IDEAS: Incentives for overseas Msians discriminates local workers

IDEAS CEO Wan Saiful Wan Jan today said that incentives to entice Malaysians working overseas to come back home, discriminates against those already working in the country, and might actually encourage a brain drain.

Speaking at a forum organised by the Penang Institute incentives don't actually matter to Malaysians overseas, and that a 'brain gain' can be encouraged by ensuring political, economical, and social equality.
