Cuban Musicians Welcome New Relations with U.S.

Cuban musicians look forward to the reopening of relations with the United States in hopes that the measure will broaden their market. There is a long history of Cuban music being played in the United States even before the blockade. Many students have been denied visas to take their music to the U.S., including the Buena Vista Social Club.
