LOUD Project: Making a Difference in the World with Small Changes
The LOUD Project organized by the Seoul government's Public Communications Lab is gaining public attention. LOUD stands for "Look over Our community, Upgrade Daily life," which aims to solve small problems in life by having several citizens involved in the problem-solving process. This project was sparked by a small inconvenience in life. Pedestrians had complained of long lines at bus stops that obstructed their passages, but this problem was solved by placing marks that resemble parentheses on the sidewalks to create a gap for pedestrians to walk through. Currently, there are 15 such projects underway to make live more convenient. 4Angles explores the LOUD Project that tries to solve everyday problems by making small changes.
