Jerry Berkers "Unterwegs" 1972

A Dutch singer, singing in German for the glorious Pilz label.
Berkers had an interesting musical career: On this album he presents folk rock with a psychedelic tint but he also worked with some of the progressive German Krautrock bands and even with the pioneers of Germany's electronic avant garde in the early 1970s.
His life ended tragically. He turned mad, like so many of his colleagues at that time, and was found dead in a park in Holland one morning in the 1990s: cocaine overdose, probably suicide.
