Mehsana: More than 500 people were cheated to the tune of Rs 60 lakh on the pretext of lucky draw schemes. Satish Thakkar of Jalaram Foundation along with his agents duped people by promising them prizes or returns in monthly lucky draw scheme. The victims were paying Rs.1,000 on the monthly basis as they were assured of prizes or returns at the end of the year. The locked doors of the office have left people in remorse. Police has started further investigation.
