The Malayan feline had been suffering from orthopedic issues for some time.
Though treatments, including stem cell therapy and arthroscopic surgery, were successful for many years, in recent days the tiger exhibited troubling behavior.
He was lethargic, had no interest in food, and appeared to be in pain.
After a medical examination it was determined that putting him down was the right thing to do.
