Honduras: Students Charge Authorities with Repression

In response to university student protests demanding participation in academic decisions and the right to elect their own representatives, Honduran authorities have allowed the police and military on campus. Activists say that with the growing police and military presence they are facing constant and increased repression, with charges pending against 24 students.
