Four of the six gang leaders that escaped from their cells in El Salvador have been recaptured. The country has faced mounting gang violence in recent weeks, which the FMLN believes is a strategy to destabilize their left-wing government. A five-day transport stoppage imposed by the gangs has now ended, but violent incidents continue.
