"Promised Land, People Excluded: Israel's African Refugees" documents the plight of African refugees living in the Zionist ethnocracy built in what was historic Palestine. Initially allowed into Israel in 2006 to replace Palestinian workers, the Africans, their ranks swelled by refugees, were soon excluded and have since been subject to racist vigilante attacks and incarceration in detention centers. Activists point to the similarities between how Israel historically treated the Palestinians and its current policies toward African immigrants. teleSUR
