Korean home shopping industry's rapid advancement
Korea's home shopping industry is expanding worldwide.
There are currently 21 home shopping offices in 11 countries and they're reaping great success. Most of these home shopping channels sell products from small and medium sized companies in Korea. They are responsible for 90% of sales, forging a win-win partnership between home shopping companies and small and medium business owners.
In addition, a public home shopping channel called IM Shopping was launched in July 2015. The channel will handle Korea's agricultural and fisheries products as well as SME goods. It will also bring greater benefits to both buyers and sellers by simplifying the distribution process and reducing costs.
