[Part 3] Remembering 60 Years Ago! 60 Years of Memories!
The Korean War from the Perspective of Foreign Korean War Veterans
The Korean War participants included soldiers from 16 foreign countries including the United States, the United Kingdom and France.
Among the tremendous casualties and MIAs, there are foreign veteran survivors.
These veterans who fought in Korea in their late teens and early twenties are now grandparents and great-grandparents.
Korea is now a very different country that it was after the war.
What is the message from the Korean War they want to convey to the next generation?

"Many people do not want to live remembering the war.. We're just proude to have been a part of the contribution that made the Korea of today."
(Jack Howell, Korean War Veteran)
"It wasn't for recognition. We were soldiers, and completed our mission." (Richard Howell, Korean War Veteran)

"You must remember. How peace and freedom came to be...
I now want to live and tell others of the proud work we did instead of being a silent veteran." (Albert Cooper, Korean War Veteran, radio DJ)
