Keep with the tradition of leading the world in automobile lighting technology, Audi is all set to add another feather to its cap. The company will unveil cutting edge Matrix OLED lighting technology at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
According to Audi Matrix OLED lights are incredibly flexible in terms of design because of their thin and flat composition. OLEDs are basically flat light sources with all new level of homogeneity as far as lighting is concerned.
Fun thing about OLED lights is that they do no cast shadows and does not require light guides or reflectors. This is what makes OLEDs extremely efficient and lightweight.
