Hundreds of Haitians protested outside their country's embassy in Santo Domingo on Monday demanding the return of over US$100,000 they paid for immigration documents that were never delivered. A 2013 Dominican court order denies children born in the country to Haitian parents birth certificates or identity documents and strips them of Dominican citizenship.
