Bolivia: Negotiations Between Miners, Gov't Seek End to Strike

Negotiations are underway between the Bolivian government and civil society organizations from the department of Potosi to end the 20-day long miners' strike. Participating in the talks are three ministers and 52 delegates from civil society organizations. The miners are demanding the release of four demonstrators who were detained in disturbances, the construction of an international airport in Potosi, and a cement factory for the city. teleSUR
