Colombian peace talks will resume later today in Havana, Cuba. Hopes are running high that a deal could soon be reach that would end the five-decade long armed conflict. The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia has declared a unilateral ceasefire and the government announced that it would take measures to deescalate the conflict.
