Flooding and strong winds are hitting the eastern Bolivian province of Santa Cruz. More than ten thousand have now been affected by the floods and torrential rains that have lashed the country during the last few weeks. Winds have reached up to 80 km an hour and have uprooted trees in several neighborhoods. As many as 74% of the country’s municipalities are affected by drought or flooding. teleSUR
