What are the differences between hear and listen, see and watch?
Hear and see are for passive activities, and listen and watch are for active activies.
And now for some examples.
I hear my neighbours arguing, so I decide to listen to what they are arguing about.
I see an accident, so I decide to watch to find out if everybody is okay.
