Unfortunately, I was unable to find any biographical data about this tenor who recorded quite a few records in the 20s and early 30s, under several different pseudonyms (Glen Wick a.o.) and for several labels. On this lovely 1929 side, he was accompanied by an uncredited studio orchestra, which might be led by Louis Katzman. This is not sure though. The recording ledgers only state the tune was arranged by Katzman.
