Following 17 hours of intense negotiations with creditors, Greece obtained a 3rd bailout deal. In a statement, Primer Minister Alexis Tsipras while acknowledging that the agreement mandates tough austerity measures, emphasized that it does not call for transferring public assets abroad, prevents financial asphyxiation and collapse, and offers medium-term debt restructuring and financing.
