Mahesh (Mehmood) and Rajni (Jayshree T) plan to fight it out with Shera's men, while Chaya (Leena Chandavarkar) goes to Blue Diamond Hotel, to fetch information about the boss of the gang. Though, she happens to meet Shera (Amjad Khan) first and fights with him in an attempt to run away.
'Aafat' is a superhit hindi movie, released in the year 1977. This film was produced and directed by Atma Ram and featured Navin Nischol, Leena Chandavarkar, Amjad Khan, Mehmood and Nazir Hussain. 'Aafat' is the story about the unmasking of a powerful gang involved in drug trafficking and diamond smuggling by Amar(Navin Nischol), a C.B.I. officer and Chaya (Leena Chandavarkar), a police officer. It is the story of Shera (Amjad Khan), a contract killer, who becomes an underworld don, only to be nabbed one day by the police. Aafat begins with the sudden and merciless killing of a C.B.I. man at the airport, leading Amar and the audience through a maze of exciting events. Amar (Navin Nischol) joins hands in the investigation with Mahesh (Mehmood), a crime reporter, who unravels quite a few mysteries.
