When we think of crashes at the Tour de France, we expect them to involve cyclists, or at least their support vehicles. This video, however, shows a crash of a different nature, which would have went unnoticed, had it not been for one YouTuber in the right place at the right time.
As the Tour makes its way through Rotterdam on stage two of the prestigious cycling event on July 5, one competitor throws away his water bottle, as they are prone to do. At the back of the crowd of onlookers, one spectator lunges to claim the prize. Watch in slow motion as he stumbles and falls, landing a few feet away from the bottle.
